Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.

Today's reading is so great and so exciting.
Sarah Mae writes about finding the secret to having energy and I can attest that she is right on target with this suggestion.
She is suggesting that you find something that you can "get jazzed about" she calls it her jazzy and incorporate that into your lifestyle on a weekly basis.
I know that this works because when I find something that I thoroughly enjoy or just carve out time for myself it takes my mood and my outlook on life to a whole other level.
For example, last night I slept so well and slept through the night, I could hardly believe it when I woke up to go for my run. (You all know how I struggle with insomnia.) I wonder if the cause of my relaxation last evening came from taking a knitting class with my sister.
I came home from said class all excited and was practicing into the evening. When we went to bed, I felt so relaxed. More relaxed than I've felt in a long time.
I firmly believe that when I take time out for myself and do something I enjoy whether it is taking a class that I'm interested in, reading a book, grabbing coffee with a friend or anything else, it helps me to be a better person, wife and mother all around.
Today's cleaning assignment is to put away the summer bedding in our bedrooms and flip the mattress (if you can) and wash pillows.
What do you for yourself that leaves you feeling great about yourself? What's your "jazzy"?
