31 Days to Clean by Sarah Mae ~ Day 1

Today is October 1 and as I stated on my facebook page NadaGoddess, I'm beginning a 31 day devotional that not only inspires you but helps you to get your house deep cleaned and organized. The ebook is 31 Days to Clean by Sarah Mae. I'm pretty excited to start this, but also encouraged. I'm encouraged because since I've now put it out there that I'm going to do this, you all are holding me accountable. (Good job keeping me at it already!)

So, even though I was exhausted this morning (I'm on my third cup of coffee) I knew I had to jump in and get started.

Day 1 is basically a focus on the reasons why I want my house to be clean and organized. As directed, I wrote a mission statement and will ensure I have all the necessary cleaning and organization supplies on hand that are needed to accomplish these daily projects.

Here is what I have for my mission statement:

Why I Want a Clean and Organized Home
·      A clean and organized home is an integral part of my calling as a wife and mother and aids me   in bringing glory to God.

·      A clean and organized home is a haven of rest for me and my family members as it adds to a sense of peace, of calm and of cheerfulness.

·      A clean and organized home lessens the daily stressors in my life.

·      A clean and organized home helps me to be able to take time out of the day to spend quality   time and really focus on my children so that they know that our relationships come before the work I do daily.

·      A clean and organized home helps me to feel more hospitable when guests arrive or when people arrive unexpectedly.
