If you haven't gone, you should.

Great fun, great food, great shopping and great friends!
The scenery was breathtaking.
Beautiful scenery is standard fare though during the Fall in Parke County, Indiana.
Pretty much every where you look you have before you a veritable feast for the eyes. Below are some of the scenes that took my breath away.

The shopping was great. And we were able to score some really great deals. For example, just as you walk up to the booths at the entrance of Mansfield (from the blue parking lot) on the right were some sheets that were so soft I couldn't wait to get them home and cuddle up in bed. They were 1800 thread count, Egyptian cotton. I bought a queen size set for $16!!!! There are 6 pieces in the sets. King size was $20! Beautiful color selection as well. I chose a very nice burgundy.
Don't forget to negotiate. My sisters and I were able to score even better deals for having the courage to do so. I was able to get $50 off a custom made toy barn that I'd been dreaming about buying for the kids' christmas all year! Having cash to negotiate with helps in this process.
Now on to the FOOD! I finally decided on lunch when we arrived in Bridgeton. We chose Rosie's Riblets. Let me tell you, it was the BEST BBQ I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!
Rosie's mother taught her and her siblings to make BBQ. Rosie is the only one though to carry on with the tradition. She does all of the cooking herself right there on site. She was so kind to allow me to take her picture. I do hope that if you go to Bridgeton, you will try some of her amazing BBQ. When she is not working at festivals she is selling her food in downtown Indianapolis. Don't these images just make your mouth water?!?

Her delicious food was reasonably priced as compared to the other vendors and the taste was out of this world!!! I'll definitely be visiting her food stand every year from now on! Quite the experience!
Of course, the Covered Bridge Festival wouldn't be complete without snapping some pictures of what else?... Covered Bridges and the beautiful mills.
