Wow! What a day!! To start, Bella kept us up late last night and Matt was kind enough to take her to the kitchen and give her a snack so I could sleep. I didn't sleep. So, that was frustrating. Then of course, she and Jack woke up semi-early (just before 7 a.m.) but since I was so groggy and out of it we had a slow start to the morning.
My brother, Sam and his wife, Emery came by for a visit before I left to help a friend and then Aunt Emery stayed to babysit. They were going to come to Neoga Days with us, but unfortunately, I didn't get home in time. It all worked out though because the kids and I were able to meet up with Aunt Bianca and Scott. Scott is Bianca's boyfriend. We all had a really great time.

When we arrived at 4 p.m. the rides hadn't yet opened, so we walked around for a while and looked as some of the craft booths and then eventually made our way over to the playground area of the park. The boys really enjoyed it and I could tell from the look on Bella's face that she was really wanting to grow up so that she can join her brothers in play.

| Christian really enjoyed the slide. |

| Gotta love that electric hair! |

| Jack has discovered how fun it is to repeatedly take his shoes on and off while at a playground. This behavior is pretty exhausting for me. This would probably be a good time to train him to put his shoes on all by himself. |
We played for a little while, walked around some more and then decided we should probably eat dinner before the kids get too hungry. We ate chicken strips, curly fries, sierra mist and part of an elephant ear. The kids loved it! Not the healthiest of foods, but I don't mind them having a treat every now and then.
After we finished our dinner it was time for the rides! This was the first time Jack and Christian were able to ride the rides and they had a blast!

| Jack was super excited to be able to "drive." |
 |
| I think Christian was happy just to get his own car to ride in! |
 |
| This was the bouncy castle. The boys weren't exactly sure what to make of this. |
 |
| Next came the motorcycles! They loved it! |
 |
| Jack called these the "boats." |
 |
| Christian enjoyed riding in the front on "the boats." |

Bella didn't get to do much, but she did enjoy being pushed around in her stroller.

It was a very eventful day for the kids and me. I definitely couldn't have done it without Aunt Bianca and Scott's help. It was really nice to be able to spend time with them and to see my children enjoying the festival. They were so good the entire time. They cried when it was time to leave, but I have a feeling that is pretty standard. All in all it was a great day. Too bad, Daddy had to work. Maybe he can join us next year!
